As I grow my microbusiness, I turn to examples of awesome business for inspiration and direction. We will each find individual paths, but they will be so much brighter if we emulate the best. Working with charity: water to raise $4400 for my 44th birthday has taught me so much about community, compassion and contribution but it has also been a great example of how to do better business.
In the past week I’ve received the following from charity: water …
- a thank you email
- a happy birthday email
- a personalized thank you video
If that wasn’t enough, someone from charity: water called me (yes, on the phone) to tell me how awesome it was that more than 100 people had donated to the campaign. I’m not finished with my campaign and because they’ve made me feel like a valuable part of their business, I’m already thinking about how I can do more.
What can you do to make your clients/readers/people be and feel like a valuable part of your business?
P.S. I am creating a new microcourse! Please answer this simple one question survey so I can make something that will help you learn and grow.
