What happens during your day that fills you with so much purpose and joy that you can’t not do it? I don’t mean the things you are expected and obligated to do, but the other stuff. The stuff that your heart and soul require.
You know something is a can’t not because you feel like something is missing when you don’t do it. I have a few can’t nots but yoga and writing top the list.
I put words on paper every day because I can’t not. I practice yoga by getting on a mat, sitting quietly, or moving through poses every day because I can’t not. Yoga and writing are my prayers. They help me connect and heal and love more deeply.
It is so important to claim your can’t nots. They make everything sweeter. They fill you with clarity and purpose.
Let go of a few shoulds or musts and make space for the can’t nots.
