My business is not automated. I don’t have an assistant. I don’t use auto-responders. I don’t auto-tweet or link up my social media streams. Instead, I come to the table with my ideas, voice, heart and soul to help you where you are and earn your trust.
I mess up all the time, get carried away with my ideas and publish with typos. I worry about failing and letting you down, but I am more worried about not showing up. I’d rather be here with my imperfections and uncertainty than waiting for the right moment or perfect version of what I have to offer.
Your response lifts me up and tears me down and almost always informs my future work. I can’t please everyone and that’s ok. Because of that. I always feel like my clients are meant for me. I have the great pleasure of working with people who genuinely want my help.
Everyone should have a chance to do business like this. When you strip down to the essentials and offer up the real you, the results are sublime.
You get a chance to work with the very best people and to fall in love with your work over and over again.
